With diverse teams and unique personas, one might think racing approaches would differ, but Kyle Busch defies the odds as NASCAR’s victorious roadster. Still hungry for more glory, he’s currently revving up for the Pocono race this weekend, aiming to secure another Cup Series championship win alongside Richard Childress Racing.
The last time Busch notched up three or more wins was back in 2019, when he snatched five triumphs and clinched his second Cup title alongside Joe Gibbs Racing. Now, his debut season with Richard Childress Racing couldn’t have started any stronger. Undeterred by the changes, Busch firmly believes that a driver’s talent is the crux when it comes to winning, regardless of the team or track they’re up against. And as he blazes through each race, he leaves a trail of excellence that’s truly unmatched.

With Hendrick Motorsports as his first team, Joe Gibbs Racing as his next stop, and Richard Childress Racing as his current team, Kyle Busch has had quite the ride. Yet, no matter the organization, it’s mostly the same tracks NASCAR Cup Champions race on.
As he geared up for the New Hampshire Loudon track this time, reporter Bob Pockrass from Fox Sports reminded him that he’s won three races for three different teams. Does that hold any significance for him?
In response, Kyle humbly stated, “I think it just showcases that you, the driver, are talented enough to be able to do that.”
And rightfully so, for back in 2017, while he still raced for JGR, he left the crowd in awe at New Hampshire. His remarkable performance secured a spot in the Round of 12 in the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. And his fans would expect the same this time as well.

In the candid interview with Fox Sports, Busch couldn’t help but gush about his new team. When asked about the one thing he loves most about RCR, he beamed, “The culture, obviously. They have a strong racing culture. They’ve got a strong racer’s racer demeanor. And I really enjoy that. I like that a lot about the place.”
Three wins may be impressive, but Kyle Busch and his crew chief, Randall Burnett, know there’s more to it. They understand the hard work required to nail a third Cup championship, and they’re ready to roll up their sleeves.
As for his future, Busch sees a legacy in the making. He’s open to racing in the Truck Series until his son is old enough to join the action. Perhaps he envisions a day when father and son share the NASCAR Truck Series spotlight, a heartwarming tale of racing heritage.
