The University of Georgia Bulldogs did it again! Becoming the National champion for the second consecutive time, the team gave a lot for the state of Georgia to celebrate. And joining the winning celebrations, NASCAR driver and Georgia Bulldogs fan Chase Elliott posted a tweet, “How bout em? #GoDawgs.”

With an incredible performance in the National Championship Game, the Bulldogs defeated Texas Christian University by an enormous margin. Reclaiming their crown as the national champions, the team won with a score of 65-7. With their consistently dominant performance, the Bulldogs registered the most points scored by a team in a College Football Playoff ever.

Now, with a score like this, team Georgia secured an enormous lead of 24-7 in the second quarter itself. And owing to this, a lot of fans began celebrating the team’s win way before the match ended. Reacting to the one-sided game, another NASCAR driver, Denny Hamlin, made a hilarious suggestion.

And as one would expect, the suggestion sent the NASCAR as well as the Bulldogs fans into a laughter frenzy. Approving and applauding Hamlin’s sense of humor, the fans commented below the tweet.

But that’s just not it. Like the NASCAR drivers who love college football, Bulldogs also have found a way to show solidarity with their favorite NASCAR driver.

Yes, the love and support between Chase Elliott and the Georgia Football team are mutual. One of the instances where the mutual support between the two was evident was the recent tweet posted on Georgia Football’s official account.

In their #WallpaperWednesday tweet, the team shared a picture of Chase Elliott standing alongside his #9 Chevy Camaro. Although a lot of people questioned the team’s choice for not selecting an Indycar, they did appreciate the shout-out.
