Some time ago, disaster struck when news broke that a 15-year-old girl was abducted from her home in Davidson County. The good news is that after more than a week, she was found in Pennsylvania. According to county sheriff Richie Simmons, the victim was found safe in Bristol, Pennsylvania, and moved to a safe location.

Now, there is a small NASCAR connection, as the police are working alongside Richard Childress Racing.

As it turned out, the organization has graciously loaned a plane to fly up to Pennsylvania and bring the girl home. To make matters even better, one suspect has already been arrested, and there may be more. But for now, we can be glad that the girl is safe and sound and on her way back home.
