The Clash at the Coliseum was a star-studded affair. One of the celebrities present was pop star Gwen Stefani, who is best known as the lead singer of her band, No Doubt. During the broadcast, Stefani got a chance to hang out in the commentary booth as a guest commentator. From there, the 53-year-old spoke about her connection with NASCAR, which happened to be through fellow commentator and ex-driver, Clint Bowyer.
She shared a particular anecdote about Bowyer, which could have been a little embarrassing for the driver. In a video shared by Clint Bowyer on Twitter, Gwen is seen as saying, “I’ve heard Clint do ‘Don’t Speak’ at a campfire. The first time I met him, he was wasted. He was confessing to me that he’s a fan. That was a compliment for me to know that you actually listen to my music.”

How did Clint Bowyer react to the situation?
Later on, Bowyer turned the situation around to take a cheeky shot at fellow commentator Tony Stewart. Apparently, Stewart was mostly silent for much of the clip. Owing to that, Bowyer teased his former team boss, suggesting that he was “speechless” in Stefani’s presence. It even got to a point that he couldn’t even get himself to ask the pop star a single question. This was actually something that Clint Bowyer found quite hilarious.
Stefani didn’t come to watch the race by herself, though. Joining her was her husband and fellow singer, Blake Shelton. Her older sons, Apollo and Zuma, made it a family outing to watch the first NASCAR race of the season. During the event, they got to rub shoulders with Jimmie Johnson and many more. However, only Stefani got the golden opportunity to step into the commentary booth with Bowyer and Stewart.
