Letting go of something you’ve painstakingly built from the ground up is never an easy feat. Just about a month and a half ago, Kyle Busch bravely took a step into the future, deciding to sell his KBM truck to Spire Motorsports. This major sale included the assets of Busch’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team, as well as the assets of Rowdy Manufacturing’s chassis building operation and CNC machine shop. The deal encompassed the 77,000-square-foot facility that served as the hub for KBM and Rowdy Manufacturing in Mooresville, North Carolina.

While there was undoubtedly a deep emotional bond between Kyle Busch, Samantha Busch, and the team they nurtured from its inception, Samantha recently shared that she’s still grappling with the lingering responsibilities tied to wrapping up the KBM chapter. Her frustration was unmistakably evident. Yet, it appears that her hard work and perseverance through this challenging transition are finally paying dividends.

The sale of Kyle Busch Motorsports marked the conclusion of a remarkable 14-year journey for one of the Craftsman Truck Series’ most illustrious teams. Kyle Busch personally contributed to 48 of the team’s 100 triumphs, driving his own trucks to victory. Long-serving as a talent incubator within the Toyota pipeline, KBM recently transitioned its manufacturer allegiance to Chevrolet. This shift coincided with Kyle Busch’s own move from Joe Gibbs Racing to Richard Childress Racing in the Cup Series.

And probably that long of a journey followed by the sale brought not just emotional but also physical challenges for the Busch family. Samantha Busch recently shared her ordeal of clearing out leftover KBM memorabilia from the closet, a task so daunting that she lost track of time.

Yet, amidst the cleanup, Samantha stumbled upon a delightful surprise, as revealed in her latest Instagram story. While sorting through the KBM relics, she discovered Christmas ornaments, much to her son Brexton’s excitement. Envisioning a festive decor in his room, she shared, “It’s Christmas Day at the Bush House, and this year I was obviously cleaning out KBM. And I found what? Ornaments and Christmas trees from past parties. So this one (Brexton) is going to have a Christmas tree and his room today. So we are getting started on that.”

Samantha’s creativity shone as she crafted unique ornament clusters, adding a special touch to their Christmas trees. She detailed her plans for multiple themed trees, including a candy tree for Lennox and a glamorous one upstairs. Additionally, she reminisced about a post-Christmas shopping spree in Tulsa the previous year, where they found adorable ornaments at great discounts. “We will be in Whoville Winter Wonderland all day today,” she mused.

These newfound ornaments have infused Samantha Busch with fresh enthusiasm. The Busch family, of late, has been all about embracing joy and merriment. Just consider their recent Halloween celebration, where their costumes were an absolute visual delight for the fans of Kyle Busch.

In a spectacular display of Halloween spirit, NASCAR’s star couple Kyle and Samantha Busch transformed into the iconic Addams family from the hit Netflix series “Wednesday.” Embodying the show’s gothic charm, Samantha donned the elegant black gown of Morticia Addams, famously portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones. Their daughter Lennix embraced the role of the enigmatic Wednesday Addams.

Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, slipped into the quirky shoes of Gomez Addams, played by Luis Guzman in the series. Their son, Brexton, joined the spooky ensemble as Cousin Itt. Even their adorable pet dog, Piper, was part of the celebration.

Samantha Busch captured the moment, sharing a snapshot of their Addams Family homage on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Halloween from the ̶B̶u̶s̶c̶h̶ Addams Family 🫰 🫰”
