Brett Moffitt will have a hugely stressful time ahead of the 2021 NASCAR season. This is because he is set to compete full time in the Truck and Xfinity Series. In the Truck Series, he will link up with Niece Motorsports in #45 Chevrolet.
Recently, he made an appearance on SiriusXM Radio and spoke about the move. According to him, Phil Gold will fulfill the role of Crew Chief and Moffitt is eager to work with him.
He said, “Sponsors are to be determined at this point, but Al Niece was the one that really stuck his neck out. We’re gonna continue working on the sponsorship.

Apparently, dialogue began right from Phoenix itself when he lost the title. Of course, he later joked that he never heard of any driver getting a job offer so soon after losing a championship. On a more serious note, he really appreciated the faith everyone had in him.
The Niece Motorsports deal pits him in the same stable as Ryan Truex and Carson Hocevar. With such a young and talented lineup, Niece owner Al Niece declared that he had high hopes for them. He knows that Moffitt is a hugely talented driver and a valuable asset to the team.
