In the NASCAR universe, where the roar of engines reigns supreme, one pint-sized fan is stealing the spotlight and hearts alike. Meet Beau Reddick, a four-year-old who’s navigated the twists and turns of fandom with the ease of a seasoned racer. While most kids are busy collecting stickers and watching cartoons, Beau has taken to the racetrack, cheering for his dad, Tyler Reddick, and the occasional pit stop to reminisce about his long-time favorite, Chase Elliott.
But this season has thrown a few curveballs, leading to a delightful family drama that’s captivating fans outside the garage just as much as inside it. Young Beau Reddick announced Chase Elliott once again as his favorite driver.
Chase Elliott’s youngest fan is back on board
Beau Reddick is Tyler and Alexa Reddick’s son, (in)famous for sleeping in the victory lane. The beautiful young boy is often seen on the race tracks with his mum to encourage and motivate his dad, or so we hope. Beau has been Chase Elliott’s fan for as long as he has started understanding the sport. However, this changed in 2023 when Reddick had a better year than Elliott did.
However, this year, preferences seem to have changed again. As per mom Alexa Reddick’s Instagram stories, when Beau was asked if he still liked Chase Elliott, the answer was the cutest, “Yes, I do.“ Only when asked who else he likes does he say “Bubba,” followed by Daddy. Fans were reminded of the time Jeff Gluck suggested the phrase Daddy Chase, which in turn put off Reddick. However, back then, Reddick did accept that he might not even be in Beau’s top ten. With much glee, we report that seven weeks back, he wrote a letter to his dad, which read: “No matter what, you’re my favorite driver.”
Reddick said on the Door Bumper Clear podcast back then, “It was Chase for a very, very long time. Chase is still like one of his favorites, but it’s been really, you know, maybe because I won some races. I know Chase had a lot of things going wrong for him this year.” Elliott also had a snowboarding accident that year.

Three notable statistics marked Elliott‘s 2023 season: he failed to secure even a single win for the first time since 2017, missed the playoffs for the first time in his Cup career, and ended the season with a disappointing 17th place in the standings. This finish represented one of his worst performances to date, surpassing his previous low of 10th place, which he experienced in both 2016 and 2019. In contrast, Reddick secured two victories with 23XI Racing in 2023, winning at the Circuit of The Americas and the fall race at Kansas Speedway.
The little boy read his work out loud on a video shared by NASCAR on NBC, “I love you bunches, Daddy. I love you because you are funny. Because you build the best hot wheel tracks. You’re fast, and wow. No matter what, you’re my favorite driver. I hope you win the championship race. I love you very much. I’m so proud of you.”
As Beau shows how much he’s grown, there is a big change coming up for him.

Tyler Reddick’s 2024 season was packed with excitement and memorable moments. He achieved a significant milestone by making the playoffs for the first time in his career, facing off against the challenges posed by NASCAR as a driver for 23XI Racing. While securing the Regular Season Championship was a major highlight, Reddick raised the bar by reaching the Championship 4 for the first time in his career. Moreover, Reddick also experienced a personal victory that made the season even more remarkable.
Tyler Reddick and Alexa DeLeon have known each other for more than a decade now, with their public appearance happening in 2012. In 2023, they got engaged, and in 2024, they tied the knot. Beau graced their lives on January 18, 2020. And, now, he is going to be a big brother. Tyler Reddick and his wife, Alexa, have shared the exciting news that they are expecting their second child. Baby Reddick 2.0 is set to arrive in June 2025, which will be a significant addition during the heart of the NASCAR season.
2025 is going to be a busy season for 23XI Racing. Both Denny Hamlin and Reddick are going to be fathers once again, and Jordan Fish is extremely excited for both couples. Under one of Reddick’s Instagram posts, she wrote, “It’s going to be a busy June for 23XIRacing.” This might just be a welcome happy addition to the family, especially after the troubling moments of the NASCAR lawsuit.
