Home/NASCAR

All Hendrick Motorsports drivers won Cup Series races this year. Kyle Larson stood out with the maximum, clinching 6 race victories. However, his teammate holds the bragging rights to achieving more than just race trophies. Chase Elliott went from a despicable season in 2023, where he injured himself and got himself suspended to snapping a 42-race winless streak. At the end of the year, he can pose with more than just race wins, having picked up the Most Popular Driver title.

Elliott brought a guest to the NASCAR Awards banquet – a blonde woman with striking blue eyes. Her presence confirmed the active status of our Hendrick Motorsports star’s dating life. His newly ordained better half recently poured her heartfelt wishes as Elliott turned 29th.

Loads of love for Chase Elliott

Ever since Chase Elliott failed to crack the playoffs last year, he has been on a mission. His snowboarding injury and race suspensions lent him the fury of a man redeeming himself. So this year during the April Texas race, Elliott edged out Ross Chastain on the second restart in overtime to win. Although his victories ceased after that, Elliott put up a consistent performance – clinching 11 top-fives and 19 top-tens. In spite of his dismissal from the Round of 8, Chase defended his Most Popular Driver status, winning the award for the 7th time.

To accompany him in receiving this honor was Ashley Stephenson, twinning with her new boyfriend in all-black attire. The talented hair stylist and lifestyle vlogger publicly posted a photo with Elliott at the Awards ceremony. Similarly, Anderson proudly uploaded a story on Instagram to celebrate Chase Elliott’s 29th birthday on 28th November. She proclaimed her love with a new nickname for her partner as she wrote, “Happiest birthday, Bubs! Thankful for you,” and followed it up with affectionate emojis.

What’s your perspective on:

Does Chase Elliott's popularity overshadow his on-track performance, or is it well-deserved?

Have an interesting take?

Not much is known about Stephenson and Elliott’s dating life. Both of them hail from Dawsonville, Georgia, and have reportedly been friends for a long time. According to rumors in the NASCAR world, Stephenson and Chase Elliott began dating each other after the Hendrick star split up with his ex-girlfriend, Kaylie Green. Stephenson works as a hairstylist and lifestyle vlogger in Dawsonville, often posting her work on Instagram. They have made multiple appearances on the racetrack together, and Ashley’s oldest picture with Chase on her profile dates back to mid-2020. Her appearance at the NASCAR Awards ceremony was their first public appearance together after a long while. She also shares a relationship with Ryan Blaney’s fiancee Gianna Tulio.

Now as the NASCAR community celebrated Thanksgiving, Chase Elliott is relishing his beloved’s presence and also the MPD honor – although fans called out the latter. The HMS driver can also take pride in a new sponsor joining him for 2025.

Another big milestone for Chase

It seems like the trophies do not cease to come. Besides the heartwarming message from his girlfriend, Chase Elliott clinched something else on his birthday. Hendrick Motorsports‘ 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has officially entered the post-Hooters era. HMS cut ties with the restaurant chain last year and took the company to court after missed sponsorship payments. This year, Elliott primarily drove in the NAPA Auto Parts No.9 but UniFirst was the primary sponsor for five races last season after increasing its involvement.

Starting with the Richmond Race, UniFirst became a major part of the No. 9 car’s color scheme, bringing the company’s green with black and white accents. Following that race, the company also served as the primary partner for the spring Martinsville race, the spring Darlington race, the Round of 12 Kansas race, and the Round of 12 race at the Charlotte Roval. Now UniFirst is expanding its footprint in Elliott’s world.

The workwear provider unveiled a new design for Elliott, a bold green color with black and yellow trim, which compliments a rebranding within UniFirst corporate. “The new No. 9 UniFirst Chevy paint scheme takes our racing presence to a new level,” said David Katz, UniFirst Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This bold design aligns perfectly with our brand evolution and captures our energy and momentum.” Katz continued, “Collaborating with Hendrick Motorsports has been an exciting opportunity to create something that not only represents UniFirst but also resonates with NASCAR fans.”
