We recently saw Jordan Taylor, a two-time IMSA SportsCar Champion, step in to drive for Hendrick Motorsports when Chase Elliott got injured because of his snowboarding injury. He made an impressive fourth-place qualifying run at COTA, but an unfortunate spin dropped him to twenty-fourth.
Following his impressive performance for Hendrick Motorsports, Taylor has now received an opportunity from a promising NASCAR team to race in the Xfinity series at Portland.

As quoted by motorsport.com Taylor stated, “I am really pumped to make my first Xfinity series start with Kaulig Racing, a team that has shown it can dominate at road courses. I’ve been fortunate in my racing career to compete at so many different tracks, and I’m looking forward to checking Portland off my list.”
Owner Matt Kaulig and Team President Chris Rice are super excited about the opportunity. “Adding another driver with this much road-course expertise will be a lot of fun. Jordan impressed a lot of people in his first NASCAR start at COTA, and I can’t wait to see what he will do in his first Xfinity Series start,” added Rice. Not only that! Even the fans are excited to get another glimpse of Taylor’s brilliance on the track.
