As Elliott whizzed past the checkered flag to take home the title win at Phoenix, the emotions crept in for the 25-year-old from Dawsonville. But his celebration with veteran teammate Jimmie Johnson was heartwarming and undoubtedly quite special.

Driving in opposite directions on the track, the pair high-fived each other and shook hands. It was as if to express that the ceremonial torch at Hendrick Motorsports is now being passed on from Johnson to Elliott.

2) Kurt Busch spells out Las Vegas with the checkered flag

Holding off Matt DiBenedetto and Denny Hamlin to win the race at Las Vegas, Kurt Busch emerged as the deserved victor in the race. But what was even more interesting was the post-race celebration that he performed on the track.

Taking the checkered flag in his hands, Busch spelled out the letters of the city he won at across the finish line. He also stepped out on the bonnet of his car and expressed his joy to the fullest.

3) Denny Hamlin sports a happy face mask celebration in Darlington!

Following the brilliant Toyota 500 victory at the Darlington Raceway, Hamlin parked his car on the side stretch. And customarily, one would imagine a burnout or stepping out onto the bonnet would be a proper celebration.

But Hamlin decided to go down another route and pulled out a happy face mask to wear it! It was hilarious and showed us the funny side of the fiercely competitive Joe Gibbs Racing No.11.

4) Elliott does the famed Kyle Busch bow after Truck Series win in Charlotte

Having been knocked out of the race by Busch at Darlington in the Cup Series, Elliott extracted the perfect sporting revenge a week later. Winning the Truck Series race at Charlotte, the 24-year-old beat Kyle to take home the prize money bounty that was on offer.

After the end of the race, Elliott did the customary Busch bow celebration. The JGR driver had later talked about the gesture in the post-race press conference and called it ‘cute’.

5) Gragson’s ‘wild’ celebration to commemorate Xfinity victory at Daytona

Winning at Daytona is a special feeling for any NASCAR driver, and Noah Gragson was no different. Taking home his first ever Xfinity Series win, his post-race celebrations included a mix of many things.
