For any NASCAR memorabilia collector, it is a dream to have all possible diecasts of their favorite drivers’ cars. The sports official diecast builder, Lionel Racing, recently put out a top 10 list. In it are listed the top 10 most sought-after diecast models this year. It doesn’t take long to realize that Chase Elliott was a clear favorite of the collectors this year.
As per a tweet shared by NASCAR YouTuber, Eric Estepp, four out of the ten spots are taken by Chase Elliott models. Meanwhile, the top spot was taken by Ross Chastain’s Martinsville car, most probably, because of his incredible wall-riding move at the Martinsville Speedway.

Aside from Elliott, his teammate at Hendrick Motorsports Kyle Larson also featured in the list at six. However, this pales in comparison to the slots taken up by the kid from Dawsonville.
Other drivers whose diecasts made it into the top ten included Austin Cindric, Richard Petty, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Former 23XI Racing driver Kurt Busch also made it to the second spot on the list.

Elliott has been a fan favorite all year. Many believed he was all set to win another Cup Series this year. That was until Ross Chastain sent him spinning into the wall during the final race. Nonetheless, the Hendrick Motorsports driver’s campaign this season had been terrific.

A few of them were also surprised that Richard Petty made it to the top 10. Some were bemused that even decades after retiring, so many people were actively buying Petty’s diecasts.
The only suprise is the fact Chase Elliott has basically two of the same back to back. 😂

Only one that would be considered a surprise would probably be Richard Petty's. Yes, he's The King, but how many people are ACTIVELY looking for die-casts of his? Not many, I'd recon.
