Chase Elliott was right folks. While everyone was laughing at him or pointing out his mistake when he mentioned in his post-race interview at the Glen, the venue for this week’s race to be Bristol, well, he was right, or rather, he should’ve been right.
Prophet Chase.

The final race of the regular season at Daytona has been postponed thanks to mother nature.
Now, had NASCAR listened to their most popular driver, even though he wasn’t very serious when he made the mistake in a frustrated state of mind after his teammate ‘supposedly’ snatched the win from him, they’d have had their scheduled race on schedule since the weather was quite fine in Bristol.
And Elliott didn’t skip a beat in pointing that out.
“Not raining in Bristol btw,” he tweeted.

Obviously, he broke the internet with this tweet as hundreds of NASCAR fans applauded him for his quick wit, his sense of humor, and in some ways, his prediction.
We need more tweets like this Chase. This is literally the best tweet ever.

Chase Elliott had over to the top expectations with Kyle Larson according to Dale Jr.
In an episode of the Dale Jr. Download, former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. called out Chase Elliott for perhaps having too high of expectations from his teammate Kyle Larson at the final restart at the Glen.
“I think it was interesting that Chase took that outside, I think that Chase may have expected too much from Larson in terms of, ‘Hey, take care of me. I’m gonna start over here, okay? So don’t use me up,’” Earnhardt Jr. said.
“Maybe Chase was expecting a little too much help from a teammate at that moment.”

Earnhardt Jr. emphasized that for him, what happened was “hard racing.”
And even though there is “some level of responsibility” to not sabotage your own teammate at the last restart in the closing moments of the race, one has got to race for the win.
