Following the chaotic race at Charlotte Roval last week, Chase Elliott emerged not so happy after being spun out on the final restart. Moreover, after the race, a cameraman walked up to the Hendrick Motorsport driver to record him having a chat with his teammate. But Elliott was seemingly furious and shoved the camera away, later proceeding to shout at the cameraman to stop filming him. Only recently, Elliott spoke to the media where he seemingly apologized for his actions.

In his Tweet, reputed NASCAR journalist, Bob Pockrass mentioned, Chase Elliott on pushing the camera away on pit road as he was talking to William Byron last week: “It was probably not a wise move on my behalf.”

In the video, attached with Pockrass’s Tweet, Elliott stated, “Probably not a wise move on my behalf but, I asked the guy to give us a little space, and he didn’t really so. You know look, frustration right after a tough race, and yeah but to answer your question not to, probably not the right move for me.”

NASCAR fans criticized the media for being too intrusive after the Chase Elliott incident

Fans supported Chase Elliott and stated that the media had been getting way too riled up on small things. They also complained that the cameraman should have just zoomed into Chase Elliott instead of shoving the camera into his face, thereby invading his personal space.
