It isn’t uncommon for people to forget about things in the spur of the moment. However, Chase Briscoe revealed on embarrassing moment involving his father’s team.
As it turned out, the team forgot to load the car into the trailer while heading to the track. They could have been forgiven if they noticed it halfway to the track.
However, nobody noticed until they reached the track and opened the trailer door. Obviously, the team would have eventually gone back for the missing car.

Admittedly, nobody knows what happened after that, though it can be assumed that the race went ahead as normal.
A team my dad drove for forgot to load the entire car one time. True story 😂 showed up to the track, dropped the trailer door and realized they forgot to load the car. https://t.co/bebQgF0Xtz

How has Chase Briscoe performed this season?
So far this season, Briscoe has put in a reasonably decent performance for Stewart-Haas Racing. His best finish in the 2021 Cup Series season is 6th place at Circuit of The Americas and Road America. Other than that, he has often hovered around the Top-15 or Top 20.
Championship-wise, he lies in 24th place and will be hoping to improve on that. At least he can take comfort in the fact that he is the top rookie, with Anthony Alfredo down in 30th.
There are four races left in the regular season, but his chances of making the Playoffs are extremely slim.

Wherever he finishes, it will be a reasonably successful maiden campaign for the 26-year-old. Without a doubt, he will have plenty of years ahead of him to improve on his position in the Cup Series.
Whether the Stewart-Haas Racing team will retain him or not, is a different story altogether. In the coming weekend, Briscoe and his Cup Series contemporaries will head to Watkins Glen.
