It’s been a horror season for Bubba Wallace. That’s a fact. Now, the reasons for the way this season has been, or rather the major reason for the same is certainly the pit road errors.
But if Hendrick Motorsports’ legendary crew chief, Chad Knaus, is to be believed, another reason for the pit road horror that’s led to the horror season is the horror-inducing penalties and suspensions by NASCAR.

“They (Wallace team) had an issue at COTA. A wheel came loose. Honestly, from my opinion, I think that was a mechanical problem that resulted in a loose wheel. “So those guys aren’t participating anymore. So how many of those penalties were a result of of those guys that were the better guys not being on that team?”
Spotter of Bubba Wallace was also critical of NASCAR’s penalties
In an episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Freddie Kraft, the spotter of Bubba Wallace, had also criticized NASCAR’s suspension and penalty system for having a counterproductive result.
“The pressure to be fast is outweighing the pressure to get it right. That’s what’s happening,” He said. “It’s just the pressure of being fast outweighing the pressure to do it right.”

With that said, do you think NASCAR will reconsider their penalty system for the pit road errors that seem to be overshadowing this entire season in general, and certainly, hovering over Bubba Wallace’s like a dark cloud?
