From the fast lane of NASCAR, another driver has joined popular veteran Dale Earnhardt Jr, taking a page from the 49-year-old’s books. Truck Series sensation, Carson Hocevar looks like he has got the ball rolling and it like he is keen on keeping it that way. After breaking the internet with his partnership with Spire Motorsports in the Cup Series as the #77 car’s full-time driver, the driver has once again stunned the racing community big time with the recent update.
In the backdrop of his new venture, the 20-year-old issued an elaborate statement, extending his sincere gratitude to all the people involved as he embarks on a new journey – one that is usually taken by seasoned veterans of the sport.

2023 has certainly been a major turnaround for the #2-ranked Truck Series driver. Hocevar who got a seat in the #42 Legacy Motor Club Chevy, in place of the controversial Noah Gragson did a whole lot more than just be his replacement. In his 5 races out of the 6, the youngster caught the attention of the community with 4 top 20 finishes, hanging in there with the elite, and showcasing his race craft.
This series of standout performances earned him a full-time role in Spire Motorsports as a driver in its #77 car for the 2024 schedule. However, that is not what is causing the smoke, right now in NASCAR nation. Merely, weeks after the career-defining turn, the 20-year-old is going full steam ahead featuring his own team in the world of Pro-Late model racing and bagging a competent driver for his newly minted Carson Hocevar Racing.
Third-generation racer, Chase Pinsonneault will be in the team for its 2024 campaign in the CHR patterned Pro Late model, trying his luck across the Midwest and Southeastern parts of the country as he looks to expand his horizons to Super-late model racing later in the season.

In the detailed statement tweeted out by Hocevar, Pinsonneault shared his delight, saying, “Having this chance to continue my progression as a driver is an amazing opportunity. The fact that Carson (Hocevar) and his team see potential in me is a huge confidence booster. I’ve got to work with them a little already in testing and it really does feel like they’ve built a program strong enough to succeed anywhere we go.”

He now has secured a place in the final 4, dishing out spectacular performances one after the other to reach his first-ever Truck Series championship rounds. On his way, he racked up 4 impressive wins along with 11 top 5 finishes out of the 22 races this season.

Acing the mile-and-a-half track in Miami, the Chevy driver punched his ticket into the final 4, edging out Zane Smith of Front Row Motorsports in the final laps, denying him a free pass. The championship battle in Phoenix will now have the 20-year-old along with Ben Rhoades, Corey Heim, and his TRD Toyota and seasoned driver Grant Enfinger.
