Carson Hocevar has shone in the limited opportunities with Spire and Legacy Motor Club. Following impressive performances in the Truck Series, Spire Motorsports lined him up to replace Corey LaJoie as he subbed in for the suspended Chase Elliott early in 2023. The driver’s Truck and Cup Series combined results have translated into a full-time role in the #77 Chevrolet.

Hocevar’s signing is a statement of intent from Spire, which also bought another charter from BJ McLeod Motorsports. Meanwhile, a technical alliance with Trackhouse Racing has also greatly boosted the team. Co-owner Jeff Dickerson believes that Hocevar’s addition could help Spire emerge as a powerhouse in the premier competition as he said, “Carson Hocevar is a proven winner and excels with every opportunity,

He’s an undeniable talent and reminds me a lot of a young Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski. We’re thrilled to have him join the Spire Motorsports family and help us continue to raise our competitive bar.”
