Todd Gilliland will be returning to full-time duties in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series for Front Row Motorsports since his first run back in 2022. Adding to the theme of comebacks, the sponsor Ruedebusch will also be back with Gilliland after sponsoring him for three races back in the 2022 Cup season. It was under Ruedebusch that the 23-year-old claimed his first top-five finish at the Brickyard 400 race and the partnership will look for more such wins this season.
“Mr. Ruedebusch, and his partners such as gener8tor, have been some of my biggest supporters since I joined the NASCAR Cup Series,” said Gilliland. “I enjoy seeing the familiar faces and they become a part of our team and our family. I can’t do this without them and I am thankful for all their support and friendship.”
Carl Ruedebusch termed this partnership a win for everybody and is hopeful for even better results with Gilliland and FRM. “I really enjoy being active in Todd’s and FRM’s development. Todd and the team have shown growth over the past two seasons, and we are all hopeful for an even better year. Our partners with our program are seeing gains, too, so it has been a win for everyone.”

McDowell certainly will take up the role as the senior driver at the team. Ever since his first season with FRM, the veteran racer has shown signs that he is taking the team in the right direction, his 15th-place finish last season was his best ever with the team. On the other hand, Todd Gilliland is seen as the future prospect at the organization. With three wins in the Craftsman Truck Series, he will be eager to get wins in the Cup Series as well.
“Both Michael and Todd are like family to me,” said Bob Jenkins, owner of Front Row Motorsports, as per Racing America. “They have been determined to make the team better each season and they just keep fighting to do that. I’m proud of both and now we will be focused on the remainder of 2023 and prepare for 2024 to be even better.”
