In a candid revelation, Justin Marks firmly articulated his decision to forgo fielding an Xfinity or Truck Series team for the foreseeable future. Marks emphasized that while the team possesses the necessary resources and expertise for such ventures, the fundamental question revolves around the business viability of such expansions. Focusing on the Cup Series, Marks explained that Trackhouse’s primary objective is to establish and consolidate its presence at the pinnacle of NASCAR racing.

Reflecting on the prospect of diversifying into other series, Marks stated, “Capable, sure. We have the infrastructure. We have the tools, we have the knowledge, and the data. We’ve got the fab shop to build the cars. The question is, does it make good business sense for us? And I can’t get there, to be honest with you. We’ve looked at it, we’ve had a lot of young drivers that we’ve talked to that we’ve been interested in sort of bringing into Trackhouse’s sort of next-gen racing guys.”

“But it’s just not really what we do,” he continued. “I mean we’re focused on the Cup Series, we’re focused on building a brand at the top level of the sport... I mean we have enough people that we can go to that are in the family so to speak, that we can lean on for those resources. But I would not anticipate there being a Trackhouse fielded Xfinity or Truck team anytime soon.”

Amid the momentum of Trackhouse Racing’s journey, Justin Marks finds validation in the success of Project91. This initiative, aimed at attracting world-class talents to NASCAR, has taken a significant step forward with Shane Van Gisbergen’s sensational debut victory.

“For us to put it in Victory Lane, it just shows, I think, the world that this Project91 is a very, very elite effort.” he continued. “It?s not about vanity, it?s not about just sponsorship, it?s not about social media. It?s about putting a program together that can actually win and tell great stories. I think the fact that we put it in Victory Lane. It just galvanizes our mission in trying to attract the greatest motorsport talent in the world.”
