Amidst the anticipation of the Daytona 500 weekend, the part-time Cup Series driver for Kaulig Racing shares a glimpse of his life in fatherhood with a heartwarming announcement. To gain some context, Williams announced on October 8th last year that his wife Trazia Rae and he will be expecting their first child in 2024. Fast forward to February 16 and Williams provides another update on his Twitter channel, ” Life with you is like nothing else! Can’t wait for baby girl to join us on our journey  I love you Trazia Rae” updated the Florida native, sharing the exciting news of their impending parenthood.

 

It’s a new lap in the Williams family story, and they’re gearing up for it with a new team member – a baby girl. This announcement comes just days ahead of the 30-year-old’s inaugural start in the #11 Chevy Camaro for Kaulig Racing in the 2024 NXS season.

As the anticipation of fatherhood grows for Williams, so does the thrill of competition. Before the Daytona 500 takes the spotlight, the United Rentals 300 is set to unfold at the Daytona International Speedway signaling the kickoff of the Xfinity season. Williams is definitely eyeing this race as an opportunity to make a powerful statement with his new team. Speaking to Fox News Digital recently, Williams expressed his eagerness, “I think we’ve got everything that we need at Kaulig Racing.” With Kaulig Racing’s state-of-the-art equipment and Williams’ three top-10 finishes last season, he could very well be on course to an inaugural victory in the Xfinity Series.

Matt Kaulig, the owner of Kaulig Racing, also shared his optimism for the upcoming season, stating, “It should be a pretty special season — fun and exciting season — for us with Josh. He’s been racing for a while. He’s definitely a racer, and this is the first time he’s been in good equipment and a good car.”
