What is the one thing for NASCAR fans that makes them tick? Or what lures them towards the enticing action of motorsports? There might be many answers to the above-mentioned questions, but there’s one thing that all can agree on the competition amongst the best drivers and bragging rights.
NASCAR has seen legends like Richard Petty, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, and Darrell Waltrip. Each of these racers has one thing in common: they are surreal winners in NASCAR’s history. From winning races to Cup Series championships to having a streak of dominance, these legendary NASCAR drivers have done it all. But Kyle Busch is the one who can eclipse all of these greats by achieving the record for most consecutive wins in NASCAR seasons.

Busch has several records to his name in NASCAR. However, 2010 is the year that pops up first in minds with his record of 24 wins, which is the most race wins in a single season in the modern era. However, he could further better one particular record that he achieved last season of having the most number of consecutive seasons with a win, and by the end of 2023 the tally stood at 19 but a new season can certainly add to it.
Highlighting this prospect that could prosper in the 2024 season for Kyle Busch, NASCAR geek, Trey Ryan was making a case that this should be the story of the season. Expressing his opinion on X he wrote, “This should be the biggest story of the 2024 season, in my opinion. There should be a huge marketing campaign. Can Kyle Busch do what no one before him has been able to do? Not Petty, not Johnson, not Gordon, not Earnhardt, not Waltrip. No one.”

The first NASCAR driver in history to have won in 20 consecutive seasons is certainly a flex. If one has to decode the magnitude and dominance of the record, one can take a look at Kyle Busch. The only driver closest to this record is Joey Logano, who has a 12-year streak, followed by Denny Hamlin, who has a 5-year streak.
So Trey Ryan was right in making the case that this should be the highlight story of the NASCAR 2024 season. Kyle Busch will be eyeing this record, but for now, he seems to be enjoying the festive season along with his family.
