NASCAR has recently come out with its new line of apparel. The stock car racing organization has a pre-existing license deal with Starter who have come out with merchandise jackets and t-shirts ahead of the holiday season. But the pictures that have been released haven’t really sat well with all of the fans.

Merchandise has always been a big part of all sports and motorsports is no different. A big portion of NASCAR’s income comes from merch sales like t-shirts, hoodies, diecast, etc. But it is also imperative to the organization that the products released are up to the mark in terms of look and quality, given the prices being charged.

NASCAR merchandise has usually been quite popular with the sport’s fans. The products have usually been of high quality and with good visual appeal. In the latest line, there are a number of drivers whose merchandise was displayed in the picture shared on Twitter. Bubba Wallace, Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, and Martin Truex Jr to name a few. There was team merchandise as well with 23XI Racing at the forefront.

A number of racing fans will be hoping to buy merchandise related to their favorite team or driver before the start of the holiday season, which is inching ever closer. One can assume that Ryan Blaney merch will be in high demand, considering that he defied the odds to become the Cup Series champion. However, considering the latest images that have been recently revealed on Twitter, there might be a bit of an issue when it comes to the latest stock’s appearance.

The new designs are not yet available for purchase, but they will be on Starter’s website soon. But certain design flaws were quickly picked on by fans and they were quick to point out the issues on Reddit.

The biggest problem that fans noticed was how the full names of the drivers did not fit on most of the apparel. The most evident one was that of Bubba Wallace. It did not take them long to mock the products, which would certainly cause concern for the manufacturers.

“Bube Walla is my favor driv,” one fan commented hilariously.

“Remember when Bube Walla said “it’s Bubin’ time” and Bube’d all over the bad guys,” wrote another.

Two other fans had a funny two-comment-thread under the pictures regarding Bubba Wallace and his close friend and 2023 Cup Series champion, Ryan Blaney.

“Who’s Bube Walla,” one user asked.

“Friend of Rya Blan,” commented another.

But it was not just Bubba Wallace whose name caused the fans to mock the apparel. NASCAR’s own print did not fit on one of the t-shirts. “Nasc sweater is 🔥 take my money,” one fan wrote sarcastically.

Chase Elliott’s one was a disaster. The ‘E’ in Elliott looked like a ‘C’ in the blue #9 half-sleeve t-shirt. “Chase clliott,” one user commented.
