Bubba Wallace Expresses His Thoughts Over Delayed Dover Race

Unfortunately for fans, the scheduled Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday was postponed due to rain and threatening weather. This was the first weather-related postponement of the season, with all 10 races prior to this being run as scheduled on Sundays.

The rain had also washed away Saturday’s Pole Qualifying for the Cup Series and all of Friday’s scheduled on-track activity. Following this the starting lineup was set according to the NASCAR Rule Book’s inclement weather procedures, putting Kyle Busch, last week’s winner at Talladega Superspeedway, in the No. 1 starting spot.

Fans who were eagerly awaiting the race were left disappointed, with many taking to social media to express their frustration. And jumping onto the bandwagon to express his disappointment was #23 driver, Bubba Wallace.

In a reel shared on Instagram, Wallace can be seen in full racing gear, with his head replaced by Beetlejuice’s head, captioned with “Just hangin’ around.”

The post portrayed the rainout of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover, which has been shifted to Monday.
