Bubba Wallace’s wife, Amanda, is having a challenging time dealing with her first pregnancy. The couple are all set for the final stretch of their pregnancy, but it looks like the road to the finish line has a few ups and downs, which Amanda is facing right now.
The 29-year-old artist Amanda Wallace has documented her pregnancy journey by sharing updates via her Instagram account. Although, for the most part, it was a smooth sailing ride, she is now starting to realize the arduous task, and Junior Wallace certainly has a hand to play in this, indirectly.
Taking to her Instagram account, Amanda shared a photo of the baby bump along with the difficulties she has been facing lately. “Pregnancy insomnia is hitting me so hard lately, currently up around 3-6 am every night no matter when I go to sleep.”

It is indeed hard for a NASCAR driver to pull off double duty, taking care of their families and focusing on the racing aspect. However, Bubba Wallace was able to do that all, thanks to the mid-season Olympics break, and the couple certainly made the most of it. It allowed the 23XI Racing star to comfort her wife and stay close to his family.
Amanda certainly embraced this good moment with her husband and shared a post on Instagram stating, “Kicking off a much needed off weeks celebrating in style 🖤 lots of nesting and relaxation planned as we prepare for the final stretch growing this baby and the remainder of race season!!” The two were in attendance at Tyler Reddick’s wedding.
However, Wallace will now have to regain his focus and prepare for possibly the most important four weeks of racing in 2024.

A playoff spot is on the line for Bubba Wallace
Unfortunately, the No. 23 Toyota Camry driver finds himself in a similar position as last year. With a handful of races remaining in the regular season and desperately trying to make the cut for the final 16 on points. Although, Wallace has managed four top 5 finishes in 22 starts so far. He hasn’t been able to convert them into wins.
The big issue for the team was that they weren’t able to find their rhythm or a streak of consistent results. It was rather surprising, as his teammate in the #45 car ran with a similar setup and was contesting for wins on multiple occasions. At the moment, it is hard to see Wallace end up in the victory lane as he is competing against the likes of Chris Buescher, Ross Chastain, and even Ty Gibbs.

While it might sound pessimistic, but points seem to be his best shot to make the playoffs. Going by his recent run, he is certainly banking on this strategy. He has managed three top-10 finishes in his last five starts, ending the mid-season break with a solid P5 finish at the Brickyard 400. This has helped Wallace close down the gap on Chastain to just seven points.
Superspeedway races have been Wallace’s strong suit. He has two back-to-back finishes at the Daytona 500, followed by the Atlanta race. Also, one of his two wins came at the Talladega Superspeedway. So the Daytona race does look like his best chance for a big result or even a victory. However, given how tight the race to the playoffs is right now, it is too close to call if Bubba Wallace will find himself in the next round.
