Bubba Wallace and Denny Hamlin have had a topsy-turvy relationship. Back in 2018, the two had an altercation during the Daytona 500, when they wrecked while racing for the runner-up finish. Rumors of a ripped shirt popped up as the two took the fight inside a trailer. However, fast forward to 2025, they have a blooming bond. Not only are they involved with the same team, but their families adore each other.

Denny Hamlin and his fiancee Jordan Fish have a beautiful family. Their daughters – Taylor James Hamlin, born in 2013, and Molly Gold Hamlin, born in 2017 – brighten their hectic lives. So Hamlin wished his eldest on her special day, and Bubba Wallace’s wife chipped in.

A shower of love for Denny Hamlin’s daughter

Well, things have rolled far from that brawl in 2018. In 2020, Bubba Wallace left Richard Petty Motorsports, accepting the warm welcome that Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan extended to him. Presently, he drives the No. 23 Toyota for 23XI Racing, a team under which he fetched his two Cup Series race wins. Things are so hunky dory between Wallace and Hamlin at present that they fend off challenges together – like fighting the NASCAR lawsuit. And at home, their families also nurture blooming bonds with each other.

So they tried to add as much pomp and celebration for Taylor James’ birthday. Denny Hamlin‘s eldest daughter just turned 12 years old, and the family is in a happy mood. The 23XI Racing team owner posted a carousel of adorable memories on Instagram, featuring Taylor. These include a vacation family photo, Taylor joining Dad on a race podium, dancing with her little sister Molly, and enjoying a delectable sweet dish. Hamlin posted his disbelief about how time flies in the caption: “Happy 12th birthday Taylor! Nearly a teenager 🤯🎂.” Bubba Wallace’s wife Amanda also chipped in her heartfelt wish: “Happy birthday Taylor!!!”

Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace’s families have united before as well. Last year, NASCAR drivers and employees got a long two-week break during the Paris Olympics. That was the perfect time for a 23XI Racing get-together, especially because No. 45 driver Tyler Reddick got hitched. Heart-warming pictures of Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace, and Reddick celebrating like the best of pals emerged. In October, Wallace wished Jordan Fish a very happy birthday. He also prodded Hamlin with an important question: “@dennyhamlin just propose to that woman already 😂 y’all been dating forever.” Indeed, Hamlin has been dating Fish since 2009.

Similarly, Denny Hamlin’s better half has also rooted for team Bubba.

Welcoming a child into this world is no mean feat. That feat continues way beyond the little one’s arrival, as they slowly grow into becoming an amazing individual. Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda took up this familial challenge. On September 29th, 2024, they trumpeted the arrival of a bundle of joy – Becks Hayden. “You know, racing comes second now,” said Wallace after the arrival of Becks.

Joy and excitement filled the Wallace household, which had been publicly expecting the little munchkin since April last year. In December, Amanda Wallace posted an adorable picture with Becks as they were enjoying the cold in Aspen, Colorado, attending Ryan Blaney’s wedding.

Even while cherishing the enchanting chill, Amanda reflected on her journey so far. She formerly worked at Bank of America for five years, initially as a financial analyst and then climbing up to the Vice President position. Presently, she is savoring motherhood to the fullest, as she wrote: “Trying to get the hang of this thing called motherhood.” Denny Hamlin’s fiance, Jordan Fish, was also there to uplift her sentiments. She patted the new mother on her back: “And you’re doing a fabulous job… Aren’t y’all the cutest?”

What more would one need for a healthy bond between two families? This proves that Bubba Wallace and Denny Hamlin’s ties run way deeper than just the racetrack.
