Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda are no strangers to banter, as the pair have used social media to make fun of each other plenty of times in the past. Their good-natured sense of humor has been an endearing quality for fans, who are constantly on the lookout for more behind-the-scenes tidbits from the married couple. The Wallaces are expecting their first baby in October, and with Amanda currently in her third trimester, she isn’t missing out on the opportunity to share funny TikToks and Instagram stories, even if it comes at her husband’s expense.

Having recently shared an Instagram story highlighting her baby bump with the caption, “Belly finally bigger….“, Amanda has struck again. Her latest exploit highlighted the 23XI Racing driver’s big head, with a hilarious caption and video to complement it.

Bubba Wallace enjoys Amanda’s sense of humor

Bubba Wallace and Amanda have known each other since their high school days. However, their relationship began in college, when they reconnected during a football game in 2015. After a long-term relationship, the 23XI Racing driver proposed to Amanda in front of a waterfall in Oregan in June 2021, and the couple married on December 31st, 2022. With their baby being expected in October this year, Amanda Wallace took to TikTok to poke fun at her husband, prompting an exchange of words on social media.

In a recent video posted by Amanda Wallace, she shared pictures of her baby’s sonogram, comparing her boy’s head to Bubba Wallace. She added the caption, “Ya’ll, please keep me in your prayers. Doctor said the baby’s head is measuring pretty big. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Because THIS is my husband.”

The video then went on to feature exaggerated images of Wallace’s head, which appeared hilariously oversized. This prompted the 30-year-old racing driver to reply, “Wifey got jokes 🤣💀” on his Instagram story uploaded on 22nd August 2024.

Wallace is currently in the hunt for a playoff spot and is just outside the cutline, seven points behind his rival Ross Chastain. The Alabama native has five top-five and nine top-ten results in the season so far, but with no wins in 24 races, the pressure is mounting for the 30-year-old. Only two races remain in the regular season before playoffs begin at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. This means that if Bubba Wallace has any hopes of making it to the postseason, he needs to up the ante at Daytona and Darlington in the upcoming weeks.

The race at Michigan International Speedway was his worst result in five races. The No. 23 Toyota Camry driver was performing well before being involved in a crash with Kyle Larson, which relegated him to 26th place on the grid. As things stand, Wallace is 14th in the driver standings, having accumulated 605 points in the season so far, and still in the playoff bubble. Despite the pressure building up, the 23XI Racing driver has plenty to look forward to in the upcoming months.

Bubba Wallace’s wife Amanda recently uploaded pictures from her baby shower, with family and friends present to mark the special occasion. Daniel Suarez’s wife, Julia Piquet, was also in attendance and joined in to celebrate the arrival of their baby. Amanda Wallace also showed a sweater she received as a gift, which was titled “Asher’s new best friend,”  with Asher being their Australian shepherd-poodle’s name, who was adopted in 2020.

Expressing her gratitude for the baby shower, Amanda Wallace wrote on her Instagram post, “Finally uploading some pictures from my wonderful baby shower a few weeks ago! Thank you so much to our families who helped me pull this off! Thank you to all our friends and family who showered me and baby with love and gifts! Feeling so blessed by our support system lately and I can’t wait for baby W to get here.”

Amanda has been quite active on the social media platform throughout her pregnancy journey and has been outspoken about the difficulties she has faced in getting enough sleep. With not too long to go before their baby is born, Bubba and Amanda Wallace need to continue sharing lighthearted jokes on social media to get through this time. The 23XI Racing driver will hope that a spot in the playoffs will just add to the many celebrations that are coming his way later this year.
