“You know, obviously, we’re in the red flag conditions, and our pace car driver, when he was making laps there, and he had noticed that the fix that we’re smoked coming out of it. I don’t know that we actually ever witnessed any actual fire, but there was smoke.” 

“Brad, you’ve got to give Brad a lot of credit there and creativity there, so he just starts doing circles and we look up from the tower, and say, what is going on? And as that all unfolded, you think about, okay, what is there a penalty there? And you think, well, he’s not advancing his position.” Elton stated. 

“And all in all, I just give Brad a lot of credit, and as we said there in the tower, there’s no penalty there. He has an advanced disposition. Obviously, he was completely away from the incident where we had safety vehicles cleaning up and attending to drivers. So, yeah, we looked at that as no harm, no foul, and actually commend Brad for being able to do that and think on the speed, if you will, to not make that situation any worse.”

During the podcast of Door Bumper Clear, Kraft had taken a stance against the RFK driver, stating, “I find it interesting because at Indianapolis I was spotting in for Landon Cassil Uh… in the cup car and uh… we got parked for moving red so it’s interesting that there was nothing. Why does it matter we’re moving? You’re moving why is one wise one get parking, one has no penalty whatsoever.”

“I mean, what’s the difference between that and Sterling getting down to the Fender and the five, or I mean, one gets not to fix the damage on his car? You’re fixing damage on your car,” added further.
