NASCAR is a fast-paced life, and everything on the field needs to be at its highest speed. Similarly, the pit crew has to perform at the same speed as the driver to match up. Unsurprisingly, all drivers get into issues with the crew, and all have different ways to deal with the issues. Take the case of Kevin Harvick and Bubba Wallace.

Bubba Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft, made a special mention of the way Kevin Harvick deals with his pit crew.

Kraft came on Dirty Mo Media’s Door Bumper Clear Podcast where he talked about drivers dealing with their crew. He made a special mention of Kevin Harvick, “Guys handle things differently. Some guys will try to rally the troops. Some guys will just Harvick one to fire, What did he call them? A bunch of wankers or something a couple of weeks ago. So listen, guys do things differently.”

He then defends Bubba Wallace ranting on the radio as he said, “We drive back to ninth after the wheels about to fall off, get a call pit under green and the caution falls right after we pit and we get trapped to lap down back to 23rd. So listen, I mean you can say what you want about the kid and how he acts and how he talks to the guys. But, at this point, I don’t really blame him anymore.”

But what caused Kevin Harvick to say that?

The driver was heading for the win when he was called into the pits. Unfortunately, the #4 car had a long, 20-second pit stop. Naturally, an agitated Kevin Harvick said, “I swear to god we look like the biggest f***ing bunch of wankers every week on pit road.” on the radio.
