In most motorsports, qualifying is extremely important as it gives drivers a better chance to win the race. However, in NASCAR, many teams have found that qualifying does not matter. In fact, Hendrick Motorsports has elected to adopt the strategy of not focusing on qualifying and just thinking about the race. In light of this, NASCAR spotter Freddie Kraft sang praises of the strategy call.

How will Hendrick Motorsports perform in the remainder of the season?

So far, the outfit has been performing exceptionally well in the current campaign. Three out of their four drivers have won at least one race, with William Byron winning a second one. Though it is worth mentioning that Chase Elliott has yet to win a race this year. In spite of that, he is leading the regular-season championship standings.

However, the driver knows that this feat will not be easy, especially with his teammates in fine form, and his rivals also looking strong. Additionally, he will not be willing to wait for a road course race, even though that is one of his specialties. Instead, he will want to succeed at as many tracks as possible.
