It’s no secret to anyone that the biggest critic of Bubba Wallace is Bubba Wallace himself. Well, maybe not to his haters, but generally, Wallace is a self-admitted, self criticize of the highest order.

This was something he once again emphasized after the race at Watkins Glen where he ended up in 35th position post a DNF.

Wallace took to Twitter to call himself out as he wrote – “My road course finishes look like a shitty roulette table.”

However, not everyone shared his opinion of himself, certainly not his sponsor, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, who replied to his tweet with a reassuring message. We were still proud to be your sponsor today, @BubbaWallace. Appreciate how much you care,” their reply read.

As you’d come to expect at this point, a Wallace hater questioned the radio channel – “Why would you sponsor a loser?”

To this, SiriusXM decided to use a quote from the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr along with another message of strength and belief for the 23XI Racing driver.

“Everyone deserves a chance to prove what they can do. We believe in @BubbaWallace and want to see him reach his full potential,” their reply read.

Bubba Wallace is banking heavily on Daytona for his playoff chances

In a recent interview, Bubba Wallace opened up on his opinion of how the #23 team shouldn’t even be in the position they find themselves in as of now.

“I feel like the speed that we’ve had, some of the races that we’ve called throughout the year, we should be, if not, had been in the victory lane already, competing with Blaney and Truex for the points battle,” he said.

Wallace claimed that they’ve been great speed-wise throughout the year but the one thing that’s missing, something that has cost them dearly, is their execution.

As for the subject of the common conception of them feeling the pressure, Bubba Wallace isn’t a big fan of that notion.

“Honestly, that’s where the problem starts, when you to start to overanalyze things,” he added.
