To say that Bubba Wallace is himself, majorly responsible for the amount and consistency of hate he receives against himself would be like saying there are aliens on the dark side of the moon. Neither of the two is true.

But just a little over a year ago, Wallace left a Hall of Famer fuming as well. It was Bobby Labonte and his frustrations with the driver, who has a couple of race wins to his name, were clear because of his own actions, or rather, lack of them.
“I’m a little bit ticked off; he has not replied back to my text yet,” Labonte admitted according to Sportscasting.
This led an amused Clint Bowyer to join in with a hilarious response – “Man, you ain’t TMZ, CNN. We’re talking big things. But little old Bobby?”
“You are a champion. Hey, if you called me, I’d call you back. Bubba, call the man back,” Bowyer added.

Bubba Wallace winning at Talladega was a big victory for NASCAR, per Labonte
Speaking about Bubba Wallace’s win at Talladega in 2021, Bobby Labonte claimed the win meant more than what it seemed on paper, not only for NASCAR but for all the sports across the globe.
“I think it was a great day not just for NASCAR, but for all sports,” Labonte said. “To have Bubba Wallace win, I think that’s great.”
