NASCAR races and the food-and-beverage industry have an inseparable relationship that has remained strong throughout the years. The stalls that are set on the raceways and speedways always bustle with activity during the races. Whether it’s McDonald’s, Monster Energy, Coca-Cola, or Dr. Pepper, a variety of food chains and beverage companies have been an earnest part of the world of racing. From sponsoring individual drivers to sponsoring a whole race, these conglomerates have always been an indispensable part of NASCAR, which has helped attract millions of devoted fans to their products and generate high revenues.
Even the drivers have not shied away from sharing their favorite food and snacks that they prefer. And it seems 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace is also treading on the same road, as he posted his favorite snack on Twitter.

In an interview with The Win, the NASCAR drivers revealed their eating practices before the races. They revealed how they avoided anything and everything that is spicy and kept it light and loaded with proteins and carbohydrates. But they surely had their favorite and quirky likings towards a particular snack, which they avoided prior to racing.
Wallace too has his own set of choices for his snacking. Wallace has been one such driver in the paddock, whose car liveries and driving suits have adorned the names of a gamut of eatery chains and beverage companies. Whether it’s McDonald’s or Dr.Pepper, these companies have been a trusted aid of the driver and have also been part of the driver’s charitable ventures.
Dr. Pepper recently even declared June 2nd as Bubba Wallace Day as a recognition of his charitable ventures. The drink company also came up with the idea of the “world’s fastest QR code,” after it designed a QR code as a livery for the car, which could be scanned and the lucky customers would be able to get a limited-edition Bubba Wallace artifact.
And following the same trajectory, the #23 driver took to Twitter to share his favorite snack, the Nerds Gummy Clusters. He added the captions, “New P1. Nothing comes close.”

It is really to be seen, whether it does hold any sponsorship chances for the driver. With brands like McDonald’s and Dr. Pepper, another feather would be added to Wallace’s cap, if the candy brand chooses to be a part of the NASCAR world. This would also surely add to the responsibilities of the driver as he would be liable for maintaining the credibility of his sponsors.
