Bubba Wallace is hardly the type of man who comes off as easygoing or funny. If anything, his on-track antics in the past have only brought his aggressive side into the spotlight, with hints of his emotional side coming to the forefront occasionally. But a recent post on Twitter revealed that the 23XI Racing driver has a funnier side as well, one that is very much into the internet’s meme culture. Fans are not exactly used to something like this from the 30-year-old and they went absolutely crazy.
The 2023 Cup Series season is over as far as the 23XI Racing star is concerned. But that does not mean that it was bad. Bubba Wallace perhaps had the most important season in his career so far. One that saw him grow and mature both as a driver and a person. The 30-year-old made the playoffs for the first time and he will be looking to build on this performance in 2024.

But that’s next season. Although there still are a couple of races to go, Bubba Wallace can afford to take it a bit easier. The 23XI Racing star’s Twitter account on Saturday had quite a chilled-out vibe about it. The 30-year-old enjoyed the incredible Xfinity Series race at Martinsville and later, shared a hilarious picture of his wife Amanda Carter.
Wallace and Carter got married on New Year’s Eve last year and the Michael Jordan’s star seems to be enjoying life as a husband. In the recent picture he shared of his wife, the 30-year-old likened Amanda Carter to a popular meme. The meme is from a viral video of a woman freaking out on an airplane, suggesting that one of the people on board wasn’t real.
The video absolutely blew up and that particular clip was turned into a meme. Well, as it turned out, Bubba Wallace’s wife had dressed up exactly like the woman in the video. The 23XI Racing driver immediately snapped a picture of her, posing like the woman in the meme.
While sharing it on Twitter, Bubba Wallace captioned the image, “Wife came home today looking like ole airplane lady 💀💀💀 had to let her know of course.”

Just like the video, Bubba Wallace’s tweet completely blew up and sent fans into a frenzy. The 23XI Racing driver might be booed on track but he sure does have a lot of social media followers. While there was the occasional user suggesting he become a better racer, most of the reactions were people simply enjoying the 30-year-old and Amanda’s humor.

“Better sleep with one eye open my man,” quipped another.
“Awesome!!!” wrote another fan.
There were some fans who were more concerned with how the interiors of Bubba Wallace’s house looked. Turns out the 23XI Racing driver has a sick helmet collection and is into cartoons.
“How much for that helmet top left second row,” one fan asked.
“Are you watching cartoons?” commented another.
Perhaps the funniest fan reaction of the lot was one that drew a comparison between the meme and Richard Childress Racing’s Xfinity Series disaster at Martinsville.
