Bubba Wallace has been enjoying quite a lot of success as of late. Having scored his second-ever win last year with 23XI Racing, he seems to be headed toward a positive trajectory. While we cannot speculate on what will come next, we sure know that he is rolling in the Benjamins.

During a recent, interview, Wallace revealed his last major shopping splurge which might amount to nearly a whopping $78,000. His revelation also brought about his penchant for constantly purchasing expensive timepieces for himself.

A reputed website asked Wallace what was the last major expense he made on himself. Responding to the question, Wallace mentioned, “It had to be a watch. My last purchase was probably an Audemars Piguet Code 11.59. My wife Amanda—we just got married on New Year’s—always tells me to enjoy the things I already have before I buy new stuff. Basically, it’s code for, ‘Stop buying so many damn watches.'”

It’s not just Wallace who flaunts expensive timepieces around the NASCAR grid. His boss, Michael Jordon plays on another level when it comes to luxury watches. Around last year, during Wallace’s Nashville race, the iconic baller once showed up with a watch that would retail nearly double what Wallace splurged on himself.

The watch worn by Jordan was none other than the manually wound Swiss-made Urwerk UR-220. The watch was made available to the market in an extremely exclusive and limited capacity. Only 10 of these beautiful artifacts have been ever made. Unsurprisingly, the price of this masterpiece lay at nearly a staggering, $155,000.
