It seems Bubba Wallace is having some trouble getting back into form. However, the #23 driver doesn’t let the on-track controversies and debacles get in the way of him interacting with his ardent fans. Recently, the 23Xl Racing driver surprised a young fan at Dover International Speedway, garnering the praise of the community.
While unforeseen weather spoiled the fun on Sunday, leaving fans saddened, the NASCAR fraternity witnessed a wholesome gesture from 2 of its drivers when they decided to make the young fan’s day.

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, Ryan Ellis of Alpha Prime Racing, invited a Bubba Wallace fan to the paddock, and guess what the #23 driver did to win over his fans?

Bubba Wallace steals the spotlight with his wholesome gesture!
Hours before his much-awaited speedway run, Michael Jordan’s driver, Wallace, won over fans with his lovely gesture, of meeting a young fan! While the driver was skeptical of his run, drowning in self-doubt, this certainly did not stop him from surprise the young fan named PJ.
Completely surprising his young fan on the pit lane, Wallace got a hat from his team crew and gifted it to PJ!
With Ellis retweeting the tweet from NASCAR’s proud engine oil supplier, Costa Kapothanasis, the NASCAR fraternity was in awe of the #23 driver despite his dull performances on the track. What made the incident special is that it was purely out of love and affection for his fan rather than being a public PR stunt.

Reacting to this wholesome gesture of the driver, fans quickly went on to praise the 29-year-old for gifting the differently abled fan a moment to cherish all his life.

Although the race got postponed to the next day due to unforeseen weather, fans got to see yet another delightful moment as Wallace went on to surprise his young fan on the pit lane! Fan comments flooded Ryan Ellis’s tweet just hours after posting it online.
A fan recalled his time with the driver back in 2021, “Bubba is a great guy. I’m a big fan, so I don’t give a shit what the haters say, but stories like this always make me feel good about they guy I cheer for every week. I had the chance to talk to Bubba on a zoom call back in 2021 that I had won from DoorDash. He was super cool..”
Another fan lauded Ellis’s effort, “Thank you for acknowledging his love for sport and the fans”
