Michael Jordan is no newbie to success in sports. But since his retirement, instead of laying back, he chose to get into the ownership game. Among his two biggest investments include the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA and 23XI Racing in NASCAR. And Bubba Wallace will be bringing them together.
Jordan invested in NASCAR along with his friend Denny Hamlin in 2020. Their team, 23XI Racing, made its debut in 2021 and in its 2 full seasons has made some progress. However, the journey hasn’t been very smooth.
There have been two major incidents that have hit the team. One of them was the Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson incident in Las Vegas last season. The other was the Kurt Busch accident at Pocono which left the team without a driver for their second car.

But they have managed to find time for some fun during the preparation. 23XI and the Hornets have been doing The Crossover Night. Bubba Wallace will be teaming up with Jalen McDaniels for its latest edition.

Bubba Wallace and McDaniels will be doing the second Crossover Night between 23XI Racing and Charlotte Hornets. The first edition was done by Tyler Reddick and Kelly Oubre Jr.
They had an interesting conversation which included Reddick sharing his second dream. He was asked which sport he would like to go pro in, if not NASCAR.

Reddick revealed, “Yeah, I got to go to basketball,” he answered without a speck of doubt. “I’ve had the opportunity to watch practice today and it’s just… every sport is a team sport but you know, all five guys are on the court. Like each role is very important.
“You lose one guy for one split-second, not being 100% focused, and it changes the whole aspect of that possession. So… basketball’s a lot of fun to watch. I enjoy coming home; watching games. Getting up close and behind the scenes today has been really cool too.”
