Multiple crashes during stage 3 saw almost half the field being involved in the wrecks. This resulted in multiple overtimes, as it took a while to clear out all the debris from the track. Due to this, the race dragged out far beyond its usual timings.
Amidst all the drama and delays, Jeremy Clements got himself a very lucky race win and ended his dry spell of 164 races.
Afterward, fans also jumped on the bandwagon and continued to discuss the highly eventful race.

The race had already been delayed by three hours due to rain. It was then pushed back further thanks to three separate overtimes. At one point, it looked like AJ Allmendinger and Austin Hill would battle it out for the race win. However, that thought was short-lived as they both made contact and spun out, and, in the process, collected a few other cars as well.
This allowed Jeremy Clements to rise up the field and eventually march onto Victory Lane. Dale Earnhardt Jr’s racing team, JR Motorsports, also suffered from the race as all of their cars were knocked out of contention during the stage 3 chaos.
