Sunday’s race at Kansas was an incredible day for 23XI Racing as Bubba Wallace took his second-ever race win in the Cup Series. But sadly, even after one year, the fans still debate his first one at Talladega. Well, the driver has something to say about the matter. And his 3-word reply might shut down any debate in this regard.

In an interview, a reporter asked Wallace if his recent win feels more ‘normal’ compared to last year at Talladega. Now, the race at NASCAR’s fastest track was red-flagged because of rain, rendering the track unsafe. And right before the race stopped, Bubba was leading the grid. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the race never happened. The rain refused to stop, eliminating any possibility of a dry track to race. So, the race was shortened, and Bubba got his first ever Cup Series win.

Naturally, the fans still debate if he really deserved that win or not. But this time at Kansas, he won fair and square, leading the pack until he was the first to drive the #45 to the victory lane. Now, coming back to the reporter’s question, they asked, “I don’t know if it’s because of where we are or how you did it or because it’s the second one, but this one feels so much more like normal to me. Like everything about victory lane –“

And Bubba had a very simple 3-word reply, “It’s not raining.”
