NASCAR fans have been enjoying the Cup Series season to the fullest since it has begun. Along with the main races, there is also Truck Series race competition that is on. For fans, cheering for their favorites and sometimes even laughing at some drivers’ silly mistakes or disasters are a part of the game. Recently, the upcoming star Hailie Deegan was at the receiving end of it, all thanks to her controversial move at COTA. But Bubba Wallace’s insider, along with others, has now cleared the air around it.

The #13 Ford F-150 driver had a crazy encounter at the recent NASCAR Truck Series race that saw her and her colleague/competitor spin out. During the race, after slamming her brakes in order to make a turn, Deegan hit fellow professional stock car racing driver Kaden Honeycutt. As she was carrying too much speed, the move ended up badly for both of them. The incident stirred some debate about whether Deegan did that on purpose or not.

In a recent episode of Door Bumper Clear, Bubba Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft shed some light on the incident. Kraft and TJ Majors got into a discussion about what exactly happened with the #04 and #13 cars in the race.

Kraft mentions that he hasn’t got a chance to see the replay properly and asked Majors if he thought the wreck was intentional. Majors said, “I don’t know if she’s looked like she kind of missed the corner a little bit, but I don’t know if she was going like mad at him or something, depending on what side you want to see.”

He then asked Kraft what he thinks he saw, and the Partner at Couch Racer replied that he just saw a quick replay and it looked intentional to him. Both further discussed what could be her motive if it was intentional as they haven’t heard of any feud going on between the two.

Kraft said, “I didn’t hear anything like where she was mad at him. You know what I mean? like normally, you know, when people are going after somebody and I don’t know if you know missing a corner by that much to potentially wreck somebody, it’s I mean, you fall to the essence is part of you know what I mean like this was pretty far.”

In the end, both agreed that the incident was just weird and probably not intentional as Deegan and Honeycutt don’t have a rivalry going on.
