With two out of the four races at Daytona already in the rearview mirror, NASCAR nation is slowly digesting the events that unraveled in the aftermath of the Truck Series and ARCA races. ARCA sensation, Toni Breidinger was the unfortunate victim in both the events, going out early for her teammates’ wrongdoings.

Now, following the eventful races, popular podcaster and Bubba Wallace‘s spotter has hit out at Gus Dean, calling out his chicken sh*t move by exposing his blatant hypocrisy on a public platform in front of millions of fans.

Reflecting on Dean’s post-race interview where he said, “I didn’t have it in me to do a teammate restart there,” the 23XI Racing spotter, Freddie Kraft got on the offensive, calling him out and exposing his real face behind the masquerade.

To make matters more interesting, Dean also gave his word to help his 18-year-old teammate, Jake Finch, better his position in the race, which he never did. Taking all these into account, Kraft on his X handle, retweeted Dean’s post-race interview – “I didn’t have it in me to do a teammate restart there…” ‘But I did have it in me to lie and tell them I would. Chicken shit move. Jake Finch deserved better after his performance tonight.'”

After a rather frantic and chaotic Truck Series race, the ARCA 200 at NASCAR’s crown jewel track followed a similar pattern – chaotic, controversial, and dramatic. While the ARCA extravaganza got proud Toyota team and series’ trailblazer, Venturini Motorsports, another win at the 2.5-mile high-flowing speedway, things weren’t so bright for its driver Toni Breidinger.

The 24-year-old driver met her match early in the Truck Series race after a tangle with Tricon Garage teammate, Dean Thompson, got her Truck Series debut into a disaster. But, little did Breidinger know that things were about to get more bitter as something similar happened to the driver in her ARCA venture at the same track after Gus Dean, her VMS teammate and race winner repeated the same, stifling her chances as her Daytona hopes ended in misery.

However, Breidinger wasn’t the only driver whose race was wrecked as a result. Shane Van Gisbergen has also spoken out after his short lived race came to an abrupt end.

“It sucked. We were just learning, getting through a few (laps). Just trying to be patient and I saw a crash up ahead and I slowed up pretty good I thought but just got slammed from behind. That sucked. It was a shame. Hopefully, we can do better in the Xfinity race,” said a disheartened and dejected Shane Van Gisbergen after his Daytona debut went down in flames after the lap 4 wreck that ended Breidinger’s race.

The three-time Supercars champion got in only three laps in the race before he was caught in the multi-car wreck on lap 4 that collected more than two dozen cars, the same one where the 24-year-old, Breidinger also got her hopes ruined. Despite the early run-in, the Kiwi supercar sensation finished 29th after his team got the #28 Chevy repaired.
