One of the top drivers of NASCAR, Bubba Wallace stopped by at the Pilsen youth club. The 23XI Racing driver, who’s had a busy week as he was the face of NASCAR announcing the Chicago Street Race, interacted with the children on his visit.
And after his interaction with the children, he hoped that some of them would be impacted by next year’s race in Chicago, just as he was when he was younger.
“I think that would be really special. That’s how I got my start. I was going to see a go-kart race and got hooked, I figure a couple of these kids could do the same thing,” he said.

Wallace added that he didn’t always wish to become a professional race car driver, but he started with a love for go-karts and then slowly moved up into the big leagues.
“You gotta be successful at every opportunity you get, you gotta make the most of it. Surround yourself with the right people,” he added.

Bubba Wallace was a happy man after the New Hampshire race
After securing a third-place finish at the New Hampshire motor speedway, Bubba Wallace seemed to leave the track with a big smile on his face.
During an interview, he described, “We’ve had a lot of speed all year, and we’ve had cars capable of that. It’s finally good to see that come to fruition. That’s what our races can be like if we continue to do that. Just take a page out of this book for everybody on the team to learn from.”

The 23XI Racing driver added that although he made a lot of mistakes in the race, especially in the last 20 laos, he was trying to remain focused. Especially when he had “two of the best”, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. behind him.
