In his downtime, Bubba Wallace is well-known for indulging in a lot of hobbies. Among them, he is best known for his fondness for drumming. In fact, he sometimes has a few jam sessions with his drum kit. Obviously, there would be plenty of noise and one has to wonder how his partner Amanda bears with his peculiar habit, and whether she has ‘kicked him out’.

A few years ago, Wallace opened up on The Racing Writer’s Podcast. He spoke about the setup at his residence and how he handles the noise problem. The versatile star answered the question, “Are you kind of secluded? Has Amanda kicked you to a secluded part of the house? Or how did you make that work?”
Wallace said, “So this current setup that we have now is, I got a basement, a finished basement, then we have a big unfinished storage room. So one part of the storage is all the electrical stuff, HVAC and stuff like that. The other side is just open, so I had Blaney come over and we would grab some moving blankets and hung them up. To kind of deaden the sound a little bit. The only thing is, I have concrete walls. I put those little foam up on the walls. It doesn’t really help much, but the area is in a decent spot. You could have 2-3 guitar players, you could have a full band in there and have enough room so its pretty cool.”

What next for Bubba Wallace after the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season?
It is fair to declare that the 2022 NASCAR season was not the best for the 23XI Racing driver. Sure, he did bag a second career win in the Cup arena, but he had a fairly slow start to the season and finished pretty low down the order. Since then, he managed to pick up the pace and improve his performance in the second half of the season.
