In NASCAR, family legacies are practically a birthright. Dale Earnhardt Jr. followed his father’s legendary path. Kyle and Richard Petty kept the Petty dynasty alive. Chase Elliott is out there proving Bill Elliott’s winning genes run strong. Honestly, it’s like NASCAR toddlers are born gripping mini steering wheels and rocking tiny helmets. And now, Bubba Wallace might be getting in on the family tradition… or so it seems.

Ahead of the Daytona 500, Bubba dropped an adorable photo with his wife, Amanda, and their four-month-old son, Becks Hayden Wallace, right there on the track. Baby Becks, decked out in his little checkered-flag race-day outfit, instantly stole the show. Fans couldn’t help but wonder—could Bubba already be grooming the next NASCAR star?

Baby Becks following in his father’s footsteps already?

But this isn’t the first time Bubba has melted hearts with moments featuring his son. Since Becks’ arrival, Wallace has taken every chance to celebrate fatherhood. During Becks’ birth, Bubba took to social media, talking about his arrival, “Amanda and I would like to introduce you to Becks Hayden! We were blessed with his presence Sunday 9/29. 9 months of waiting on this little guy, he’s made it all worth it! So excited for this journey!”

So when Bubba Wallace shared a trackside family photo with his wife Amanda and their baby boy Becks, NASCAR fans couldn’t contain their excitement. The post, cheekily captioned “212 months until Becks’ Daytona debut,” with Becks sporting socks featuring Bubba’s No. 23, immediately stole the show. For a moment, it seemed like Becks was the true star of the weekend.

Bubba took his fatherly pride to the next level for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. He added Becks’ tiny footprints to the back of his racing helmet, proudly announcing: “Got little man riding with us on all our helmets this year.” Perhaps having Becks’ footprints as his lucky charm helped Bubba finally claim victory at Daytona. During Thursday’s opening Duel race, Wallace’s aggressive driving paid off in the final laps. With a push from teammate Tyler Reddick, Wallace held off a tough field to grab his first-ever Daytona Duel win—a breakthrough moment after years of close calls at the track, including two runner-up finishes at the crown jewel event.
