The final race of the 2022 season is just about to commence and after that drivers who signed contracts with other teams, will prepare to pack their baggage and head toward their new teams. While Kyle Busch moves into RCR, Tyler Reddick will move out a year early from that team and head straight to 23XI Racing. Bubba Wallace was recently asked what did he think about having a new teammate.

Wallace said, “Yeah. Tyler was jumping the guns… Umm, we’ve been racing against each other for many years now. Hell, we racing since when we were like ten or eleven. How old is he?… Oh, so he’s younger than me… But no Reddick coming over, he’s fast, he’s competitive and we race really good around each other.”

Reddick was initially supposed to arrive in the Michael Jordan co-owned team after the 2023 season. However, since RCR decided to play Reddick dirty, by announcing Kyle Busch to take his seat and leave him hanging, 23XI Racing decided to just buy him out and get him in a year early.

Who would not want someone like Reddick, who has the talent and the confidence to win multiple races each year? On the other hand, the reason Reddick was able to drop by early was that Kurt Busch had recently announced that he would be retiring from the sport altogether. Busch had decided to prioritize his health over anything else and hence decided to take a call all by himself.
