As a racer, Wallace knows that the path he took was very arduous. For a racing driver, the very bottom rung is the go-kart arena, and from there they progress. However, kart racing can be very expensive, and few people can afford it. Fortunately, Wallace and his new partner, David Steward II, founder of The Lion Forge, decided to change a life.

To be precise, they announced an $8,000 Raceway Gives Ignite Series scholarship for Unaeze to begin his karting career.

Wallace said, “You have to start young. That’s why having a scholarship like this is great. My kart did not look as cool as this one”.

Meanwhile, Steward admitted, “We want to see great racing, and we want to foster a new generation. We want to see more diversity in racing.”

Interestingly, Wallace revealed that in his early NASCAR years, the World Wide Technology was his lead sponsor. This was when he used to race for the Richard Petty Motorsports team. Of course, the #23 driver knows that he has yet to win a race this season, something that his teammate has already achieved.
