Bubba Wallace is no stranger to being in the limelight. Sometimes its for the good reasons while there are times when Bubba has been all over the internet for all the wrong reasons. A few months ago, a decade-old Tweet of the 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace and NFL star Patrick Mahomes, had been doing rounds of social media.

Earlier this year Twitter started a campaign where users could tweet their old tweets and show how they have reached their aspirations in life. In one such tweet, from April 2014, Bubba Wallace had apparently stated that he desired to race in the Xfinity Series. Moreover, sometime later, his tweet also appeared on a Los Angeles billboard.

Wallace’s luck struck gold as soon after he got the call-up into the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Joe Gibbs Racing. Ever since his life had been an upward spiral, as he soon reached the top flight of NASCAR in the Cup Series.

Wallace has seen a pretty good career in the top flight of NASCAR, with two wins to his name, he has been holding up pretty well to say the least.

Although success did not come from the current 23XI Racing driver, as he switched teams, a win never came by till after spending another decade in the sport. He has also seen the light of a few controversies that came his way, along with several other rough patches, fights with other drivers, and now the recent incident with Kyle Larson at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Wallace currently races for 23XI Racing, a team co-owned by a fellow competitor, Denny Hamlin, and NBA icon, Michael Jordan. He only recently signed his contract extension with the fairly new team and hopes to make this his home. Hopefully, Wallace can manage to stay out of trouble and silly mistakes moving forward.
