“A healthy body leads to a healthy mind” – not only is this old saying relevant in racing, but the line itself echoes in life whether be it in any aspect of life. Despite his long struggle in earlier Cup Series events, Bubba Wallace has finally risen from the ashes as the driver displayed some impressive performances in the last few outings while making changes to his routine.
The drastic change comes in the wake of the driver making a public admission that got him back on track despite facing heavy backlash from the community for his earlier outings of this season with his team boss, the basketball legend, Michael Jordan in the team booth. But all that is in the past, or it looks that way as Wallace has been consistently dishing out stellar performances even coming 2nd at NWB.
As the 23Xl Racing driver makes a grand return to the winning ways by coming a close second only to the winner, Kyle Larson at NWB Speedway, the driver has made it public that the timely intervention of his mother has got him on the right track.

Bubba Wallace admits having his team on the back foot owing to his poor performances
For NASCAR fans, their relationship with the 29-year-old is seemingly a love or hate kind of affair, while the driver is often at the receiving end for his dull and lackluster performances, he is also the favorite for many racing fans. With that being said, the recent controversies suggest something else. Wallace has yet again landed himself in the fire as the community has erupted over the recent hate scandal row.
His cocky demeanor and rational attitude have earned him quite a number of haters so to speak. But things are changing for the best ever since the driver has made significant changes to his routine owing to his family’s right advice. Recently the driver opened up to the popular media house, People, where mentioned his Mother’s magic words propelling the driver to make necessary changes that made profound results.
After back-to-back wrecks at Atlanta and the coveted road course of Circuit of The Americas, Wallace is now in awe of the astounding results he made after a subtle change in his ways. “I never was a big proponent of working out and doing all the necessary things. I was just like, ‘I’m good,’ “ the NASCAR driver told the People magazine. After implementing the necessary changes, the driver said, “I got my crap together.”
Furthermore, the driver explained how his careless ways got the team back along with him. As Wallace reflected unpredictable nature of the sport that can have things going for a toss even at an odd time he admitted to having his team on the losing end, “have good moments” and then, “right there at the end, something takes you out,” which the driver believes set off “a slump” that set the team “back pretty far.”
Even as he makes an open admission on how his sloppy ways got his team on the back foot while he himself went through a tough time with persistent criticism from the community, Wallace shared how his mother helped him succeed in life.
