Recently, a video of Bubba Wallace giving an interview was spotted on the internet, where we saw a rather questionable fan emerging from behind and gesturing something, which was only to be described as, let’s say, wild and unnecessary.

Wallace was answering a question at Bristol when a young member of the audience seemed to claim his 5 seconds of fame by showcasing a lewd X-rated gesture on camera supposedly directed at Wallace.
While the event seemed to be hilarious for some, it certainly was not something to be proud of, even though that kid might think so. It was certain that the audience at Bristol was not a fan of Wallace.

There are always certain elements in society that would do anything to gain their short-lived chance to fame, even if it means taking a jibe at an athlete by showcasing a lewd gesture for everyone to see. Fans were divided on the incident. Some even took it as light-hearted humor.

Well, the interaction was certainly inappropriate, but fans seemed to have enjoyed the moment. But disrespecting someone like this just because someone has a different opinion is just outright crass and distasteful. However, that’s just the way it is and not much can be changed, unless Wallace more races to shush his haters up.
