Richard Childress Racing attempted to drop a mystery image of a new driver in their lineup. Sadly, their graphics department decided to go lazy with it. Fans quickly caught on to the obvious silhouette and called it out to be of Xfinity Series driver Austin Hill.

Now with the rumors surrounding Kyle Busch’s move into RCR have been thrown out of the window and under a rug. It also brings out the possibility that Austin would be Tyler Reddick’s replacement.

Fans mocked RCR for the lazy approach towards these Twitter reveals. Though some fans thought it was Kyle Busch, others were quick to shut it down and confirmed that Kyle did not possess such a wide body frame.

 

The majority of the mockery came from how RCR reacted to the Tyler Reddick news and how they ended up treating him. But regardless, now it’s for certain that the doors to RCR for Kyle Busch have been nailed shut.

Despite disqualifications, Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin rise through the power rankings

Even after Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch were disqualified after the Pocono race, both drivers managed to climb up the NASCAR power rankings table.

According to CBS power rankings, Denny moved up to 4th place and Kyle up to 7th place. Kyle Busch’s performance at Pocono reminded us of his older days when he was in his prime, alas for the disqualification or else we’d have seen a much happier Busch.

Hamlin gained a total of four spots in terms of his race day performance rather than the final outcome that ended in victory being snatched from his hands and passed onto a classy Chase Elliott. This week as we move closer to the race in Indianapolis, we ought to see what transpires through this weekend.
