In a recent podcast, NASCAR spotter Brett Griffin talked about who is the ideal person to represent NASCAR. The surprising answer was none other than Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch. Many know the two facets of the driver. Firstly, he is hugely successful and has so many wins across all three series. However, the other side of the driver reveals that he is quite temperamental, which might be is putting it lightly.

Griffin said, “I think that the best personality in our sport and for our sport, is Kyle Busch. He’s one of the best race car drivers, he’s one of the best guys to give you good quotes. One of the best guys to tell you what he thinks. At that moment in time [wall-riding at Nashville], he thought his car was the biggest piece of sh*t out there.”

“So I’ll give him props for telling everybody that. The thing is, what was said over the radio, we’re in the middle of a game. We’re in the middle of a competition and we don’t always have the ability to stop and think ‘What I’m about to say, a bunch of people are going to listen. A bunch of people are going to tweet it and want to talk about it.'”

What lies ahead for Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch?

At the moment, the #18 driver is in the midst of the 2022 Cup season. He has already racked up a win this season, thus qualifying for the Cup Series Playoffs. However, considering that there have been so many winners, and nine races are left, he will be wary. Busch knows that he will have to go for another win if he wants to secure his Playoff spot.

Last weekend at the Nashville Superspeedway, Chase Elliott joined a growing list of Cup drivers with two wins this season. And there is no doubt that Kyle Busch would want to add his name to that roster.
